The Idea Behind
Chikankari, a traditional hand-embroidery art form that emanated from Lucknow, India. It has evolved over the years from being embroidered in its purest semblance with white threads on white base fabrics like muslin, cotton and chiffons, to now being done with colourful and silk threads on a variety of fabrics. The evolution of Chikankari has made it a substantial array for the world to see.
In our effort to innovate with the craft, we are sowing the seeds of a rejuvenated sense of fashion through Chikankari. Each of our designs have an eccentric touch to them keeping the true heritage of Chikankari alive with each strand of thread used to embroider.

JASmine and PRAmeet together make JASPRA. Our brand strives to bring Chikankari to the world in its original form i.e. with finesse in every stitch blended with bespoke sewing that defines this beautiful art.
Jasmine and Prameet were born into a Chikankari business family and so they grew up discerning the artistic craft of Chikankari.
JASPRA is a slow fashion brand that speaks bespoke through each design. The thought behind each design is to make ordinary feel extraordinary with each little added detail because we believe “What you wear is how you feel”
